COVID-19 Response
Selah Theatre Project COVID-19 Response
FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
We are BACK!!! In a new space, during a pandemic and going BACK to what Selah Theatre Project is all about! We are about community, connection and theatre. Theatrical arts, whether virtual or in person, were thoroughly used to get us through the year and half of isolation. We connected through Zoom, Google or FaceTime simply to keep hope alive.
As we re-open our doors for in-person classes, rehearsals and performances, please take a moment to read our updated COVID-19 Policies for Selah Theatre Project. Our COVID-19 protocols in order to keep all our patrons, actors and volunteers safe.
We continue to monitor CDC Guidelines and state mandates. Please be patient with the re-opening of our doors. Your health is important to us!
MASK UPDATE
1) The mask mandate has been lifted. It is now strongly advised to wear a mask as our space is small, however, patrons will have the option to wear a mask.
2) If you have purchased a ticket and you or someone in your group doesn't feel well, has experienced symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days of performance, or has been in contact with someone with COVID-19 within 14 days of performance, please stay home.
3) If you do not feel well, please email info@selahtheatreproject.org to request a ticket exchange or refund.
Before attending a performance at Selah Theatre Project, please do a COVID symptom check which is located below.
I wish you great health, safe return to the theatre and WELCOME HOME!
Dramatically Yours,
LaTasha Do’zia
Artistic Director, Selah Theatre Project
SAFETY GUIDELINES AND POLICIES FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING
Each student that has chosen to do in person lessons or group classes will need to sign/have their parent/guardian sign a waiver and health check before each class. If our office has not received a waiver/health check for that day, they will not be able to attend in person lessons until one is signed and submitted.
Masks will be optional for students, instructors, and all those who enter the building.
Social distancing is encouraged as much as possible.
To limit the number of people in the facility, parents are not allowed into the building, unless required by the class/instructor or the student is under the age of 5 years. The exception to this is for pick-up and drop off, and at this point we ask that parents not linger in the theatre space to continue to limit the number of people.
Parents will not be allowed to drop students off until class time.
If you violate any of these terms, we reserve the right to dismiss you/the student from the premises and no makeup will be offered for any missed lessons without refund.
IN PERSON WAIVER
The following waiver only needs to be completed one time per student. This waiver is not required for students who are only enrolled in online/virtual courses. However, the MySelah COVID Check will need to be completed before each class.
