Class Description
Broadway has always belonged to the dancers. The ones who tell the story with their bodies before a single word is sung, who fill the stage with energy the moment the music starts, and who make every number feel like it couldn't have been done any other way. In Broadway Dance Camp, young performers will step into that tradition — learning the movement, style, and performance energy that defines some of the most iconic musical theatre choreography ever put on a stage. Over five days, campers will explore dance styles that have shaped Broadway from the Golden Age to today — jazz, contemporary, musical theatre movement, and more — building technique, performance presence, and the kind of full-body storytelling that makes a number land. Every style has its own language, and this week is about learning to speak all of them. At the end of the week, families and friends are invited to a showcase performance — a chance to see what five days of hard work, bold choices, and pure Broadway energy looks like when it all comes together.
