Class Description
Every great story needs a great villain. The hero gets the glory, but the villain gets the best lines, the best entrances, and the most interesting arc — and this week, it's their turn to take center stage. In Villains Theatre Camp, young performers ages 8–15 will dig into the characters everyone loves to hate, exploring what makes a truly unforgettable antagonist tick from the inside out. Over five days, campers will explore the art of playing villains with full commitment and zero apology — developing characters, building scenes, and discovering that the best villains aren't evil for no reason. They have a backstory, a motivation, and usually a point. This is a week for the kids who always wanted to play the bad guy, the scene-stealers who light up the moment they walk into a room, and anyone who has ever suspected that the villain's side of the story is the most interesting one. At the end of the week, families and friends are invited to a showcase performance — where the villains finally get their moment, the spotlight is gloriously theirs, and the audience will leave wondering who they were rooting for all along.
