Forget velvet curtains and bright stage lights. The Neighbors takes theatre out of the theatre and drops it right into your living room. Each month, audiences gather in homes and unconventional spaces across town for a 30-minute episodic play that unfolds only a few feet away — no stage, no separation, just story.

What Makes It Different

• Immersive & Intimate – With no physical divide between actors and audience, you don’t just watch the play — you live in it. Every gesture, glance, and secret feels personal.

• Episodic Storytelling – Over the course of the season (October–May), four neighbors meet for potlucks, holidays, and late-night conversations, only to reveal that behind every smile is a secret waiting to be uncovered. Each episode stands alone, but together they weave a bigger mystery.

• The Speakeasy Vibe – Like an underground club, The Neighbors is about discovery. The exact location of each performance is hidden until 48 hours before showtime, when ticket-holders receive a private invitation with the address. All locations are within Winchester, Frederick, Clarke and Warren Counties. 

How It Works

1. Buy Your Ticket – Seats are extremely limited (10–15 guests per performance).

2. Wait for the Reveal – The secret location is sent to you via email, usually 2 days before the show.

3. Step Into the Story – Arrive at the living room door, grab a seat, and become part of the inner circle of neighbors.

4. Witness the Drama – For 30 minutes, you’ll experience theatre as raw, immediate, and intimate as it gets.
